Setup Guide

How It Works

Follow these steps for a clean setup and a smooth foam party experience.

1

Choose Your Spot

Find a flat, clear area near water and power, with setup space within about 75 feet.

2

Assemble the Cannon

Put the cannon on the tripod, connect the short hose securely, and attach the handle if using the large cannon.

3

Prep the Bin

Fill the water bin, place the pump in the water, and keep the hose at the bottom using the provided clamp.

4

Power Up and Party

Add solution, secure your barricades, turn on the cannon and electrical reel, and you are ready to go.

Full Setup Instructions

  1. Find a clear setup area near a water source and power.
  2. Set the cannon on its tripod and connect the short hose securely.
  3. Fill the water bin and make sure the hose is at the bottom.
  4. Place the pump into the water bin.
  5. Attach the handle if you are using the large cannon.
  6. Connect the pump and cannon to the electrical reel.
  7. Plug the electrical reel into your outlet.
  8. Clamp the hose at the bottom of the bin to avoid foam building up inside the bin.
  9. Add solution, about 32 oz per bin.
  10. Place barricades in front of the cannon and bin, and secure them with the provided bungees.
  11. Turn on the cannon, then the electrical reel.
  12. To turn everything off, switch off both.

Running the Party & Ending

  1. Add more water and a little solution as needed.
  2. Keep the hose resting at the bottom of the bin.
  3. Let a little water run into the bin during use so the water level stays about the same or slowly lowers.
  4. Add a few splashes of solution from time to time.
  5. Keep an eye on the water level.
  6. If the foam looks thin or watery, add more solution.
  7. If it is windy, aim the foam cannon downward to keep foam in place and off the operator.
  8. The typical water bin lasts around 10 minutes, so have someone monitor it.
  9. If foam stacks too high, turn the cannon off for a bit.
  10. If you want to slow the buildup, watering down the bin slightly can help.
  11. When finished, turn off the power at the electrical reel to shut off both the pump and the cannon.
  12. Take everything apart, pack it away, and make sure all items are returned.
Pro Tip: Do a quick test run before the event. A little prep now saves a lot of stress later.

Quick Support

If something looks off during setup, it is always better to stop and call than guess.

Thin Foam?

Add a little more solution. Thin, watery foam usually means the mix needs to be stronger.

Foam Stacking Too High?

Turn the cannon off for a bit, or water down the bin slightly to slow things down.

Wind Causing Problems?

Aim the cannon downward to keep the foam in place and reduce blowback on the operator.
